A joining fee of £20 is payable on application and an annual membership fee of £20 will be requested to be paid before end of January for each membership year. Mat fee is £5.00 per session for members and £6.00 for non-members. Fitness sessions are open to members and non-members (parents and carers included!) on Tuesdays are £2.
We would prefer all members to pay for sessions in advance (10, 20 or 30 sessions). This helps to cut down on administrative time and enables smooth running of the sessions. We do appreciate that families have different financial circumstances and we do not wish anyone to feel excluded. Please speak to Mark if you want to discuss payments.
We will issue you with a pre-payment card which is held at the desk.
An Application for membership must be completed and signed by the individual (or by the parent or guardian of any child under the age of 16 years of age). This application form can be printed, filled in and brought to a session. It also includes a simple confidential health questionnaire.
After a suitable introductory period, usually about four weeks, members are asked to join the British Judo Association (BJA).
Membership of the BJA will provide players with a licence and insurance. This will allow the opportunity to grade in a progressive system and to compete in local, regional and national competitions.
All players of all ages and experiences are welcome!
Please use the enquiry form to contact us about membership
