Membership

A joining fee of £20 is payable on application and an annual membership fee of £20 will be requested to be paid before end of January for each membership year. Mat fee is £5.00 per session for members and £6.00 for non-members.
The application form below can be downloaded and printed, filled in and brought to a session. It also includes a simple confidential health questionnaire.
After a suitable introductory period, usually about four weeks, members are asked to join the British Judo Association (BJA).
Membership of the BJA will provide players with a licence and insurance. This will allow the opportunity to grade in a progressive system and to compete in local, regional and national competitions.
All players of all ages and experiences are welcome!

BJA Membership

The British Judo Association is the sport’s governing body and renrukan members are expected to take out BJA membership, individual and family memberships are available. Benefits of BJA membership include a licence to compete in regional, national and international competitions and it also cover personal injury insurance whilst on the Judo mat, amongst other benefits. BJA membership information is available from the BJA website. Our BJA club number is 3006.
